Business Administration Thesis Master's Program (Turkish) 

Program Qualifications

An individual who graduates from the Business Administration (Thesis-Based) Turkish Master's Program,

  1. Develops and deepens expertise at an advanced level in one of the fields of management, production, marketing, accounting, finance, or human resources, based on undergraduate-level competencies.
  2. Explains the interaction of their field with related disciplines.
  3. Possesses the ability to transfer knowledge of their field to employees and team members.
  4. Has the ability to analyze, interpret, and evaluate information related to their field analytically and systematically.  
  5. Can interpret data, analyze, identify problems, and propose solutions using the knowledge gained in their field in decisions, applications, and behaviors.  
  6. Possesses the leadership and managerial skills necessary to achieve business objectives effectively and efficiently.  
  7. Gains entrepreneurial skills and can independently plan necessary activities such as starting a new business, taking risks for sustainability, securing resources, conducting market analysis, and preparing business plans, as well as executing studies requiring expertise in their field.  
  8. Can assume responsibility aligned with project goals as a project leader or participant. ​
  9. Can establish interdisciplinary and multicultural teams for an organization/institution, define vision, objectives, and goals, design and analyze an organization at the organizational level, work effectively with different disciplines or multicultural teams, take responsibility, and use initiative in solving problems. ​
  10. Critically evaluates acquired knowledge and skills, remaining open to innovation, change, and lifelong learning. ​
  11. Can convey thoughts and suggestions related to their field at the level of acquired knowledge and skills to relevant parties in written and oral forms, design and propose research, prepare research reports, and present them, effectively using the methodological knowledge gained in scientific research. ​
  12. Can communicate with professionals in their field, effectively manage relationships with stakeholders of the organization/institution, and analyze these relationships. ​
  13. Can communicate verbally and in writing in a foreign language at least at the B2 General Level of the European Language Portfolio. ​
  14. Uses computer software, informatics, and communication technologies at an advanced level to perform data entry and analysis related to their field of study. ​
  15. Acts in accordance with organizational, institutional, professional, and societal ethical values. ​
  16. Enhances problem-solving vision in business management by applying case methods and contributes to studies in the field with original works. ​
  17. Monitors and evaluates changes and developments in the interdisciplinary, national, and international dimensions of business management, demonstrating sufficient awareness of the universality of social rights, social justice, quality, cultural values, environmental protection, occupational health and safety, the social responsibilities of work life, and societal transformation.
